Almost There... 37 Weeks - The 'Must Follow' Twitter Of The Year!

0 comments Tuesday, September 7, 2010
Daddy and Mummy have been talking about whether or not he can use his iPhone in the delivery room at the hospital - what's a 'delivery room'? Is that like the delivery food that Daddy sometimes gets and tells me to keep it secret?... But it's very funny to see Mummy get angry :)

Daddy secretly told me that I have my very own Twitter account now, and that I should tell the readers of this blog to 'follow' me and get the 'play by play' action when I'm ready to emerge from Mummy's tummy!!

So you can follow the progress right here - please add me!: http://twitter.com/tiniestblogger

Today I'm 37-weeks and weigh more than 3kg. The friendly doctor said that I could come into the big world anytime now. I don't know if I'm frightened or excited!!

Anyway, Daddy has uploaded a new video today - I've got some sort of chord covering my mouth a lot of the time, but Daddy said that it's on YouTube and in high definition - I have no idea what that means. He also added some very pretty music to the video.

My First 4D Ultrasound

14 comments Thursday, July 1, 2010
Well it's been a pretty long break since my last update. But now things are advancing very quickly and Mummy looks like she's been eating way too many doughnuts and hot dogs (her belly is "almost" as big as my Daddy's).

It's now been 27-weeks since my first discovery, and yesterday Mummy and Daddy saw me on a 4D Ultrasound for the first time. I decided to be naughty again - I stayed awake all night before, and was practicing my kicks for goal. I don't why Mummy was complaining - it was only 3:00am in the morning. So when the time came for the 4D scan, I decided to bury my head deep down low, put my arm across my left cheek and have a power nap. I wasn't waking up for anyone.

But still you can see my features quite clearly - see my cheek, eyes, nose, mouth, chin... do you think I'm as handsome as Daddy yet?

She's 19 weeks pregnant, so I decided to treat Mummy to a bonus!! I spread my legs and let Daddy take a photo in all my glory!!

It's easy now to see that I'm a boy.. and wow, is my Daddy ever boasting!! :)

And here's a picture of my profile (you think I'm handsome already??):

In this video, the nurse decided to move around Mummy's tummy so that they could see all my spectacular features... head, heart, stomach, legs, feet, arms, hands... everything's there and I'm proud to show it off!!!

How To Play A Trick On Your Parents

1 comments Sunday, April 18, 2010
I discovered the coolest way to play a trick on your parents!!

Last week, my Mummy and Daddy were so very excited, because the nice doctor said that he would be able to confirm if I was a boy or a girl (remember he said last time that he thinks I'm probably a boy - but it had to be a big secret still).

So here's what I did... when the nurse put that freezing cold ointment on Mummy's tummy again and started looking inside, I crossed my legs!! Haha - and I kept them that way the whole time. Now nobody still knows if I'm a boy or a girl (just me!!).

I guess Mummy and Daddy will just need to keep guessing - Daddy found a website where it tells him what I should be (I copied and pasted the information below). I think that's even funnier, because even though I don't understand any of the stuff, Mummy said that it's all mixed up. They are more confused than ever!!

So here I am now at 16-weeks in Mummy's tummy... and I'm smarter than both of my parents!! I know things that they don't know!! Oh, I feel so happy... :)

Blame It On The Baby

0 comments Sunday, March 28, 2010
Is this how it's gonna be all my life? Always blaming it on the baby?

You see, lately my Mummy's been feeling very sick right around dinner time. She needs to go to the bathroom. Then when she comes out, she says, "It's the baby's fault!"... what did I do??

Then, everytime my Mummy stands on those things called scales, she looks at the numbers, and says, "Oh, it's because of the baby!" How is that??

Finally, today when Daddy wanted to watch the football on TV, Mummy made him drive all the way to the other side of Singapore to buy some Shanghai dumplings that cannot be bought anywhere else (the right quality ones anyway - sheng jian bao)... Mummy said that's something called 'cravings'... and that is somehow also my fault!!!

Always blaming it on the baby!!!! *sigh*

Big Secret - I 'Might' Be A Boy

3 comments Wednesday, March 24, 2010
So here's the latest 'buzz' (my Daddy uses that word all the time, I'm not really sure what it means).

Today I'm 13 weeks into my journey, and I went to see that nice doctor again. This time, I decided to do a little gymnastics while Daddy was video recording that funny ultrasound machine. I also showed everybody how I can use my arms already and pretended to scratch my ear. :)

But the big surprise (and it's even a bigger secret), is that the doctor thinks that I'm probably a boy. He showed Mummy and Daddy what he thinks might be my 'boy parts'. But he told them not to announce it yet, because he wants to make sure and confirm it in 3 weeks time.

The reason it's a surprise is that Mummy really thought that I will be a girl, because the Chinese calendar says that I should be... it's funny watching my Mummy and Daddy talk about things like this, because Daddy says that it's not possible to know what I am by using the moon and numbers. Of course, Mummy says something about people in China using this method for thousands of years - I don't really know what all this means either - coz I'm just a baby!!

Anyway, please make sure you don't tell anyone this secret - I promised that I wouldn't tell anyone yet!! SHHHHHH!!

Check my video out from today:

My Heart Is Beating - Yoohoo!!

0 comments Monday, March 8, 2010
Today we went back to see the doctor... it's still way too early to find out if I'm a boy or a girl, but it was wonderful to be able to see my heart beating so fast and so strong!!

My Mummy and Daddy are very, very happy today, and the doctor said that I am probably going to be a big girl or boy, because already I've grown to a huge size of 3.8cm!! maybe I can play basketball when I grow up?

Daddy couldn't help himself - he had to take out his iPhone and video record the ultrasound screen... if you look closely, you can see my heart beating!!

I don't know why my Daddy had water in his eyes?? So very strange!!

I've Now Been Growing Eight Weeks

0 comments Saturday, February 20, 2010

Today my Mummy went to see the Doctor (she told me it's the same doctor that brought my brother here too). I am officially eight weeks old, and the doctor told Mummy and Daddy that I am now 1.5cm tall. I'm not really sure if that's big or not, but the doctor is a really nice man, anyway!!

The doctor is a long way from my home - he works at Mt Elizabeth Hospital.

The Miracle!!

4 comments Wednesday, January 20, 2010
Today a miracle happened!! My Daddy went to the chemist and bought a Digital Pregnancy Test Kit for Mummy. They discovered that I was already growing in Mummy's tummy. You can see by how blurry the picture is, that my Daddy's hands must have been shaking very much... the word on the test says "Pregnant"!!

So I'm no longer just an idea - I'm a real baby growing. I can't believe that I need to wait for more than 8 months before I get to see the rest of the world!!

Daddy says that "patience is a virtue" :)
